Malcolm Clubley [Ex-Barnsley Workshops]: A pupil of Edward Barnsley, who came to the Barnsley Workshops in 1959 as a five year apprentice, he left in 1973. His standards or material and workmanship are as exceptional as you would expect form a Barnsley Workshops craftsman

About Elm

Elm: Elm is a light to medium coloured timber with a decorative grain. It has a strong interlocking grain structure, and consequently high resistance to splitting, decay and water damage. Used correctly it finishes into delightful character furniture
