Designed by Ambrose Heal  and made by Heal & Son, this is a very high quality and rare single wardrobe made in solid fumed, Spanish sweet chestnut and featuring unusual inset squashed heart handles to the drawers. and recessed, squashed heart handles to the drawer. Listed and featured in the Ambrose Heal design book. A special piece of Ambrose Heal antique bedroom furniture, amazing quality and considered by leading collectors to be the finest of Ambrose's Arts & Crafts designs and one of the earliest with such clean simple lines. The compact size of this item makes it equally suitable for a bedroom or hallway

In lovely overall condition, with excellent colour and original mirror glass. The drawers slides, smoothly as you would expect from such a high quality item. Some heat cracks in the grain of the sides, lock not present on the drawer and repaired cornice.
