Designed by Ambrose Heal  and made by Heal & Son, this is a very high quality and rare dressing table made in solid fumed, Spanish sweet chestnut and featuring unusual inset squashed heart handles to the drawers. Listed and featured in the Ambrose Heal design book. A special piece of Ambrose Heal antique bedroom furniture, amazing quality and considered by leading collectors to be the finest of Ambrose's Arts & Crafts designs and one of the earliest with such clean simple lines

Condition

In lovely overall condition, with excellent colour and original mirror glass. All the drawers slide as smoothly as you would expect from such a high quality item. Two heat crack in the grain of the top and one repair to the lower right corner of the upper section.
