A beautifully designed and superbly made item providing a very styling combination on practical storage and a full length mirror. This is a top class handmade item produced by an individual craftsman, not one of the later mass produced designs

About Gordon Russell

Gordon Russell: One of the most important names in British design and a leading maker of arts and crafts furniture. His early furniture was hand-made in small numbers to a very high standard, adopting the Cotswold School philosophy pioneered by Ernest Gimson and the Barnsleys of usefulness and truth to materials. Always passionate about high standards of craftsmanship, many of his 1930s designs evolved to bridge the gap from the early arts and crafts movement to modern, minimalist forms while retaining the quality of materials and construction expected of the best Arts & Crafts furniture

Condition

Excellent condition. A few minor dints and one shrinkage split on the inner panel of the right hand pedestal. If you wish to have further specific photographs or talk to us for a more detailed condition report then please do not hesitate to contact us

Delivery

We are happy to arrange delivery for you which can be added at checkout, or you can collect items in person.

Delivery typically takes about 2 weeks, but may take up to 4 weeks (and occasionally longer if you live somewhere very far flung), and is a 'one man' service so assistance may be required at your end.

It will be by a specialist courier that will handle you item with great care and contact you in advance of arrival to agree a suitable day and time. They will also be as helpful as they can with times and dates, but will have multiple deliveries and collections to schedule into a practical route and timetable, so please bear that in mind. Please contact us for faster delivery options or a two man service.

You are also welcome to collect or make your own arrangements for collection via a carrier such as Mailboxes, Alban Shipping or Silversprint, if you prefer, but we would not then provide a packing service for the items.

We can also arrange international deliveries. Please contact us for a quote.  Please note that for international orders, you will be responsible for any import taxes, duties or charges and these are not included in our pricing.

Return Guarantee

All orders are subject to the conditions set out below.

Our contract

When you place an order with this website, we will send you an e-mail containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we have dispatched that product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Returns

We aim to be as accurate and honest as possible with our descriptions so that you know exactly what you are buying and ensure there are no nasty surprises. There is of course a subjective element to describing the condition of items, so if something is not as clear as it should, be please ask for clarification. It's not normally possible or desirable to restore items to perfect as new condition, so unless otherwise stated you should expect items to have some character - small amounts of age related wear and tear, such as light scratches, tiny chips/dings, minor marks and slight colour variations. These won't detract from the overall appearance and are generally only noticeable on close inspection.

If you are not completely satisfied with your item, you have the right to cancel the contract for a purchase within a period of 30 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. To return an item, please contact us to let us know you wish to return it, then arrange its return so that we receive it within 30 working days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you. You can usually use the same courier that delivered the items to you. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, we have made a significant error describing the item or the item was damaged during the outbound delivery. If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item at your cost. We regret that we cannot accept returns of any items that are not in the condition we sent them, unless the damage was caused during outbound delivery. As soon as we receive the returned item, we will refund the relevant amount. If we delivered the item to you in error, we have made an error describing the item or was damaged during the outbound postage, we will also pay the cost of return delivery. If you do return an item, please contact us first and let us know why, so that we can continually improve our service. These terms do not effect your statutory rights.
